Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 June 2026
Waitless is a free directory that helps South East Queensland families find NDIS speech pathology clinics and send them an enquiry. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We never sell your information or use it for marketing.
Who we are
Waitless is an independent directory operated from Queensland, Australia. You can reach us any time at admin@waitlessclinic.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- When you enquire about a clinic:your name, email, mobile number, your child's age range (optional), the focus areas you select (optional), your preferred contact method, and any note you choose to add.
- When a clinic claims a listing: the work email used to verify ownership and any details the clinic updates about its own service.
- Basic technical data: we apply a short-lived, in-memory rate limit to the enquiry form to reduce spam. To do this we use a one-way hashed version of your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address and we do not use cookies for tracking.
We do not ask for diagnoses or clinical records. Please share only what a clinic needs to respond to your enquiry. Information about a child's health or disability can be sensitive information, so we treat anything you tell us with extra care and ask you not to include more than you are comfortable sharing.
Why we collect it and who we share it with
We use your enquiry details for one purpose: to pass your enquiry to the clinic you chose, so it can contact you about availability. A copy is also sent to you, and the Waitless operator receives a copy so we can make sure your enquiry reached the clinic.
We do not share your details with any clinic you did not enquire about. We do not sell your information, rent it, or use it for advertising. We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site (our hosting provider, our database provider, and our email delivery provider); they process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to support the introduction between you and a clinic and to keep basic operational records. You can ask us to delete your details at any time and we will do so unless we are required to keep them by law.
Your choices and rights
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your details.
To make any of these requests, email admin@waitlessclinic.au. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Clinic listings
Listings for clinics that have not claimed their page are built from public sources, such as public business directories. If you are a clinic and would like your listing corrected or removed, see our Terms or email us and we will action it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
